I had the pleasure of working with Abbie from Rooted Plant Co. on developing an icon to go alongside her wordmark. Rooted is a recently-opened, plant boutique located in Kearney, Nebraska, owned by Abbie and her husband. After stepping in their lovely + modern shop, I felt more than inspired to start work on their icons.
Abbie wanted to include the Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma (monstera) leaf in her branding, which had me THRILLED. The monstera plant happens to be my favorite plant and appears in my own branding as well. I wanted Rooted’s leaf to appear more modern and slightly abstract by using a circular frame.
Hands down, the best part of any branding project is seeing how my clients implement their logos into everything. I swear they come up with the coolest ideas!
